The Weather
The months of July and August are the warmest. The daily temperature averaging 29°C. The sea is 21°C until the end of October because it has been soaked by the sun throughout the summer months. Even in springtime, the temperature is above 20°C and there are 10 hours of sunshine.
In September and October the scenery is very colourful with pleasant temperatures. As the climate is so temperate each season has its own blooming flowers and plants.

Cheap Flights
You can take a plane and fly either to airports Athens, Thessaloniki or Skiathos. Skiathos island is an hour away from Volos by Flying Dolphin.
International ports are Pireaus, Patra and Igoumenitsa. From there you will have to make your way through the mainland to Volos.
When travelling by bus, there are direct connections to Volos from all the main cities of Greece.
